Before applying
-
Check the year of entry. Many deadlines listed above relate to September 2027 entry, even though students may search for scholarships in 2026.
-
Check the full eligibility rules. A scholarship open to international students is not necessarily available to every African applicant or every degree program.
-
Distinguish full funding from partial funding. An award of CAD $10,000 may help with tuition but may not cover the full cost of studying in Canada.
-
Confirm deadlines on the official university website. Some award deadlines have not yet been published for the relevant intake, and others depend on the program or faculty.
Editorial suggestion: Keep these tables directly under each university in your article. Link each university name to its complete official scholarship listing, so readers can click through to find additional awards, application instructions and updated deadlines.
